In fact, there are several other reasons why our hair can fall out:<\/p>\n

A whole list of medications such as cytostatics <\/strong>as part of chemotherapy, but also antihypertensives<\/strong>, birth control pills<\/strong>, acne medication <\/strong>(isotretinoin), antibiotics<\/strong>, antidepressants<\/strong>, thyroid medication <\/strong>and, finally, a not to be underestimated number of tablets taken “quickly” in this country: (head)painkillers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Other, rarer reasons for the unloved loss of hair are high fever<\/strong>, vitamin deficiency <\/strong>and psychological stress<\/strong>. Not only does the loss of a loved one count here, but moving house alone can be seen as a major stress factor and cause hair loss! <\/p>\n

But that doesn’t have to be the case!<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The principle of a healthy lifestyle<\/strong> applies here just as it does in so many other areas of our lives:<\/p>\n

This means that freshly prepared, vitamin-rich foods such as raw vegetables<\/strong> , beet<\/strong>, eggs<\/strong>, fruit<\/strong> and meat<\/strong> provide hair growth with valuable minerals and vitamins such as vitamin B, iron, amino acids and trace elements.<\/p>\n

You should also avoid harmful substances such as nicotine <\/strong>(which reduces the blood supply around the hair follicle, meaning that the hair roots do not get enough nutrients).<\/p>\n

After taking a detailed medical history, an examination of the scalp<\/a> and a hair root diagnosis (trichogram) are carried out in my practice. Both can provide initial indications of the possible causes of hair loss. <\/p>\n
