Do you want a skin tightening without surgery, Botox, hyaluronic acid etc.?
Smooth skin without Botox and hyaluronic acid – treatment with the fractional CO2 laser makes it possible! Skin rejuvenation with the CO2 laser is one of the most modern and effective skin rejuvenation procedures. Unlike ablative laser therapy, this treatment gently penetrates and removes small areas of skin. In this way, countless microscopically small holes, barely visible to the eye, are shot into the skin. The subsequent healing process revitalizes the skin and makes it firmer, smoother and softer. Pigmentation and wrinkles disappear and the overall appearance of the skin improves.
The CO2 laser - an effective and gentle method for skin rejuvenation and skin correction
This skin rejuvenation therapy offers the following advantages in addition to its simple application:
- Innovative and modern laser process
- Short treatment duration
- Gentle way to tighten the skin over a large area
- Formation of new collagen
- Shrinking effect: existing collagen bundles contract strongly - skin is tightened
- The result is soft, smooth and radiant skin.

Important FAQs on the treatment of pigment and age spots
Is laser treatment with the CO2 laser painful?
In principle, CO2 laser treatment is not painful. However, if desired, the patient can be pre-treated with a local anesthetic ointment. For smaller areas, the treatment is completely painless as a special icing spray is used.
Following the treatment, a cream should be applied to accelerate wound healing. I will of course be happy to advise you on this as part of the treatment.
Who is a CO2 laser treatment suitable for?
The CO2 laser treatment is suitable for all those who suffer from one of the problems listed below:
– Scars (e.g. acne scars, scars after operations or burns)
– Pigmentation disorders
– Sun damage
– Wrinkles on the face and around the sensitive skin area
– Large-pored skin
– Milia (annoying sebum inclusions under the skin)
What are the side effects of CO2 laser treatment?
After the skin treatment, it is quite normal for redness and swelling to occur and for crusts to form on the treated area. Slight itching may also occur during the healing process. However, this is merely a sign of healthy healing and the discomfort should subside a few days after the treatment.
How many treatments with the fractional CO2 laser are necessary?
As a rule, a single application of the laser is enough to trigger a noticeable improvement in the skin. However, this cannot be said across the board, as every patient is different! However, a clarifying discussion with Dr. Barbara Franz at the start of treatment should answer this question for you.
When do the desired results of laser treatment become apparent?
After the procedure, it is essential that you take intensive care of your skin and do not expose it to sunlight. You will notice the first improvements after just a few days. More pronounced wrinkles usually take a little longer to heal. Here, the first improvements can usually be seen and felt around ten days after the laser treatment. As the skin is renewed from the inside out, you can often notice positive results even months later.
Do I have to take medication after treatment with the CO2 laser?
An analgesic cream is applied before the treatment, which is normally sufficient. For further relief of irritation or itching that may occur after treatment, I recommend special ointments and creams.
Can I go out in the sun after treatment with the CO2 laser?
Prolonged exposure to the sun can lead to premature skin ageing, so you should use suitable sun protection regularly. After a laser treatment, you should avoid direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks. It is important that you wear sun protection with SPF 50+ and reapply several times a day.
