Pigment spots
When hands & neck are affected
Nothing is more aesthetically displeasing than a flawless, firm face and dark pigment spots and wrinkles on the neck or hands right next to it!

A major reason for the skin changes in these two areas is primarily years of sun damage to the skin.
Nowadays, people are happy to use high-quality skincare products and sun protection for the face – but the neck is usually forgotten, which means that sun exposure “accumulates” over decades and the consequences become increasingly noticeable from the age of 40: Wrinkles on the neck but also the first gray-brown age pigmentation spots.
It is similar with our hands:
- It is primarily the sun that causes premature skin ageing, as well as excessive hand washing, which continuously removes moisture from the skin, causing it to dry out or even crack.
- Ideally, we should apply sunscreen to our neck and hands right from the start: This means applying sunscreen with a high SPF during the day and products rich in active ingredients for the night! It is important to know that our skin is inactive during the day and generally cannot absorb active ingredients, but at night it is worthwhile relying on valuable ingredients such as vitamin C (one of the strongest antioxidants - fights cancer cells!) or vitamin A (slight peeling effect, prevents the first pigmentation spots from settling, but also ensures a firmer complexion). Additional skin-lightening active ingredients work wonders: active ingredients such as kojic acid, vitamin C or hydroquinone gently lighten the first pigmentation spots and give us an even complexion again!
- In my practice, I offer an anti-aging treatment specially designed for the neck for even pigmentation and firm skin.
A combination of Botox specifically relaxes overactive neck muscles (they cause wrinkles and as we get older our neck muscles become overactive, so-called hypertrophy) and filler specially designed for the needs of the skin on the neck. This not only fills wrinkles and folds on the neck, but also ensures that the “water reservoir” under the skin is replenished and the skin is optimally rehydrated from the age of 40. This makes it more supple and gives it more elasticity – however, this requires several sessions (ideally 3 sessions every month)!
Regular DermaPen treatments at one-month intervals also ensure “firmer” skin in the neck area, resulting in a fresher, more youthful appearance!
The “fractionated CO2 laser” is particularly suitable for our hands to get rid of the first wrinkles and unloved pigment spots – here too, I recommend 2-3 sessions every month.
