Ultherapy PRIME® – A Visible Facelift Without Surgery

Over the years, the skin loses its firmness and elasticity. The contours of the face become softer, and the skin on the neck and décolletage sags. Many patients want a noticeable tightening effect but do not want to undergo surgery.

This is exactly where Ultherapy PRIME® comes in. This non-invasive treatment uses microfocused ultrasound technology to tighten and lift the skin without surgery. The goal is to achieve natural-looking results that suit you.

Ultherapy PRIME® is the latest generation of Ultherapy®. The procedure has been recognized by a panel of expert physicians as the gold standard for non-invasive lifting and skin tightening. I am now offering this treatment at my practice in 1090 Vienna.

How does treatment with microfocused ultrasound work?

Ultherapy PRIME® directs focused ultrasound energy specifically into the layers of tissue that are rich in collagen and elastin. The energy acts at precise depths of 1.5 mm, 3 mm, and 4.5 mm. The skin’s surface remains unharmed.

Deep within the skin, tiny heat points form with temperatures ranging from 60 to 70 °C. These trigger the skin’s natural regeneration process, which occurs in three phases:

  1. Activation: The body responds to the heat points by initiating a natural healing process.
  2. Regeneration: The connective tissue cells (fibroblasts) produce new collagen and elastin.
  3. Maturation: The new collagen is remodeled and forms tight cross-links. This promotes a long-lasting lifting and firming effect.

So the skin isn’t plumped up from the outside, but rather rebuilds itself from the inside out. That’s why the result looks natural.

Customized thanks to real-time imaging

Every person is anatomically unique. The depth, thickness, and distribution of tissue layers vary significantly from person to person.

Ultherapy PRIME® is the only non-invasive procedure with built-in real-time imaging. During the treatment, I can see on the screen how your skin layers are structured. This allows me to deliver the energy exactly where it will be most effective for you.

Each treatment is therefore tailored to your individual skin type and your needs.

How does the treatment work?

We start with a personal consultation. I’ll examine your skin, discuss your goals with you, and create a personalized treatment plan.

During the treatment, I move the handpiece over your skin and monitor the tissue layers on the screen. You may feel small energy pulses being delivered deep into the skin. This sensation varies from person to person. We’ll discuss beforehand how to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you.

Depending on the area, a session lasts between 30 and 90 minutes. Usually, a single session is sufficient.

After treatment

There is no downtime with Ultherapy PRIME®. Following the treatment, you can resume your normal activities right away, in accordance with my recommendations.

Skin rejuvenation with IPL

Gentle skin rejuvenation with light - effective against pigmentation spots and redness

Everything at a glance

The skin changes over the years: Pigment spots, fine veins or age spots can appear and the skin structure loses its elasticity. IPL treatment is a modern technology that provides visible skin rejuvenation – without the need for surgery. The method uses pulses of light to treat specific skin changes and stimulate the formation of new collagen. A particular advantage is that IPL can be individually tailored to the skin type in order to achieve optimal results.

What is an IPL laser?

IPL stands for “Intense Pulsed Light” and is an advanced technology for skin rejuvenation. In contrast to a conventional laser, IPL treatment works with intense pulses of light that can improve the skin’s structure and reduce skin spots in a targeted manner. This method, also known as photorejuvenation, stimulates the skin to regenerate and can therefore have a positive effect on wrinkles, melasma and lentigines. Modern IPL devices have various filters that can be used to adapt the treatment to individual skin problems.

Skin tightening without surgery

Many patients want visible skin tightening without having to undergo an invasive procedure. This is exactly what IPL technology makes possible: the targeted application of light pulses stimulates changes in the deeper layers of the skin, improving the skin’s structure and giving it a more youthful appearance. A fresher complexion can be achieved after just the first few sessions, while the skin continues to look natural.

What is IPL used for?

IPL is used for a variety of skin problems, including the treatment of pigmentation spots, rosacea, acne and wrinkles. The technology helps to reduce skin changes and improve skin texture. In our practice in particular, IPL is used specifically to treat pigmentation spots and rosacea. Age spots and other pigment changes as well as redness and enlarged veins in rosacea are treated to achieve a more even and younger skin appearance. IPL can also help with large pores, as the treatment refines the skin.

Removing pigment spots with IPL

Pigment spots are caused by UV radiation, skin ageing or hormonal changes. With IPL technology, these skin spots can be treated in a targeted manner. The intense pulses of light penetrate the skin and break down the excess melanin that is responsible for the dark spots. As a result, the pigment changes gradually fade and the skin appears smoother and fresher. IPL is a gentle method for reducing age spots, lentigines and melasma. IPL can achieve very effective results, particularly on the face, décolleté and hands.

Treating rosacea with IPL

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that is associated with persistent redness, dilated veins and inflammatory skin changes. IPL treatment helps to reduce these vascular dilatations in a targeted manner. The light pulses heat the affected blood vessels, causing them to shrink and become invisible. This ensures a more even complexion and can provide lasting relief from the symptoms of rosacea. The skin appears calmer and less prone to redness. Visible results are possible after just a few treatments, and many patients report a significant improvement in the appearance of their skin.

What are the costs?

The costs for an IPL treatment are individual and depend on the respective examination and the scope of treatment. As every skin has different needs, a detailed consultation is carried out in advance to ensure the optimal use of IPL technology. The number of sessions required can vary and often several treatments are needed to achieve the desired result.

Skin care and prevention for skin rejuvenation

In order to achieve the best possible result after an IPL treatment, it is important to take appropriate care of your skin. Protection from UV radiation, moisturizing skin care products and a healthy diet support skin regeneration. It is also recommended to avoid sunbathing and intense heat sources such as saunas or hot showers for a few days after the treatment. IPL treatment can also be carried out at regular intervals to improve the appearance of the skin in the long term.

Frequently asked questions about skin rejuvenation with IPL

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a technology that uses pulses of light to treat skin problems such as pigmentation spots and redness and stimulate collagen production.

IPL penetrates the skin, treats specific skin changes and improves the skin structure.

Usually not. A slight feeling of warmth or a brief sting may occur.

Possible side effects are slight redness or swelling, which subside quickly.

Use sun protection and moisturizing care products.

The first improvements are often visible after just a few days, the final result is seen after several weeks when the skin has regenerated.

Important FAQs on the treatment of pigment and age spots

In principle, CO2 laser treatment is not painful. However, if desired, the patient can be pre-treated with a local anesthetic ointment. For smaller areas, the treatment is completely painless as a special icing spray is used.

Following the treatment, a cream should be applied to accelerate wound healing. I will of course be happy to advise you on this as part of the treatment.

The CO2 laser treatment is suitable for all those who suffer from one of the problems listed below:

– Scars (e.g. acne scars, scars after operations or burns)
– Pigmentation disorders
– Sun damage
– Wrinkles on the face and around the sensitive skin area
– Large-pored skin
– Milia (annoying sebum inclusions under the skin)

After the skin treatment, it is quite normal for redness and swelling to occur and for crusts to form on the treated area. Slight itching may also occur during the healing process. However, this is merely a sign of healthy healing and the discomfort should subside a few days after the treatment.

As a rule, a single application of the laser is enough to trigger a noticeable improvement in the skin. However, this cannot be said across the board, as every patient is different! However, a clarifying discussion with Dr. Barbara Franz at the start of treatment should answer this question for you.

After the procedure, it is essential that you take intensive care of your skin and do not expose it to sunlight. You will notice the first improvements after just a few days. More pronounced wrinkles usually take a little longer to heal. Here, the first improvements can usually be seen and felt around ten days after the laser treatment. As the skin is renewed from the inside out, you can often notice positive results even months later.

An analgesic cream is applied before the treatment, which is normally sufficient. For further relief of irritation or itching that may occur after treatment, I recommend special ointments and creams.

Prolonged exposure to the sun can lead to premature skin ageing, so you should use suitable sun protection regularly. After a laser treatment, you should avoid direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks. It is important that you wear sun protection with SPF 50+ and reapply several times a day.

Daylight PDT

Effectively treating actinic keratosis and sun-damaged skin

Everything at a glance

Tips for immediately after treatment

After the treatment in my practice, the patient should immediately go outside, where he/she should spend the next two hours. The optimum conditions for this are at least 10 degrees, preferably from March to October. Afterwards, it is recommended to go home to wash off the cream residue with lukewarm water and apply the prescribed ointment (twice daily/7 days).

What is photodynamic therapy with daylight?

Photodynamic therapy with daylight (daylight PDT) is a special form of light therapy that is used to treat superficial tumors such as actinic keratosis. A light-sensitized substance is applied to the tumour tissue. This substance accumulates 10 times more in the tumor cells compared to normal skin.

After the application time, the affected areas of skin are exposed to daylight for 2 hours. This leads to the substance being activated and the tumor cells being rejected and destroyed in a targeted manner.

The final result is seen after about 3 months. As a rule, the success of daylight PDT lasts for several years. However, this depends on your lifestyle and, above all, how often you expose yourself to the sun.

BEFORE-AFTER results

BEFORE

AFTER

When exactly does daylight PDT help?

Damage caused by UV radiation years ago often only becomes apparent after a long delay. They therefore only become noticeable on the surface of the skin much later, even if you no longer expose yourself to strong sunlight or actively protect yourself from it in subsequent years.

The skin changes mainly appear on the so-called sun terraces of the face (lower lip, upper ear area, nose, forehead, bald head). Shoulders, décolleté, forearms and the backs of the hands are also affected. You can recognize such sun damage by the fact that the skin feels scaly, rough or crusty. In this case, it is very likely that you are affected by actinic keratosis (AK).

How does a daylight PDT work?

Actinic keratosis as a harbinger of white skin cancer

The tricky thing about actinic keratosis is that those affected rarely show any symptoms. However, actinic keratoses do not heal on their own and are a precursor to white skin cancer. If left untreated, they can develop into a malignant spiky cancer after a certain time, which can also metastasize. If an actinic keratosis is treated dermatologically in good time, its transformation into white cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) can be prevented.

Despite countless alternative types of treatment, photodynamic therapy with daylight has proved particularly successful.

Frequency and signs of actinic keratosis

Actinic keratoses are the third most common reason why patients consult a dermatologist. They are also the most common precursor to white skin cancer. This in turn is the most common form of malignant skin tumor and occurs in around 328 out of every 100,000 people in Germany every year.

Because actinic keratoses are the result of long-term exposure to UV radiation, they are particularly common in older people. Patients with immunosuppression are affected even more frequently. Across Europe, it is estimated that every second person over the age of 60 has at least one skin change of this kind. However, it is increasingly common in young people who are frequently exposed to the sun either privately or professionally.

Actinic keratoses usually begin with reddish-brown, reddish or skin-colored areas with whitish, light scaling. This keratinization or scaling increases over time, which is why the skin feels increasingly hard and rough. The oval or round areas often increase in size from just a few millimeters to several centimeters. The outlines can be both sharply defined and irregular.

Comparison between daylight PDT and conventional red light PDT

Until now, white skin cancer has often been treated with conventional PDT, which uses strong red radiation . Although this treatment also proves to be extremely effective, it is painful due to the absorption of creams containing aminolevulinic acid (ALA).

In comparison, daylight PDT offers the same results, but causes hardly any pain. As the irradiation begins immediately after the cream is applied, the ALA substance is consumed by the sunlight immediately after penetrating the cells before it can reach the nerve endings.

The gentle photodynamic therapy with daylight also has the advantage that it can be carried out repeatedly without damaging healthy body tissue. In addition to the treatment and prevention of skin cancer, daylight PDT is also an alternative treatment for other tumors such as superficial basal cell carcinomas or Bowen’s disease. PDT is also used for skin rejuvenation.

It can be treated in various ways, but photodynamic therapy with daylight has proved particularly effective in recent years!

Important FAQs on daylight PDT

Before carrying out the daylight PDT, apply SPF 50 to all areas to be treated in the morning.

An appointment is made for a follow-up examination to check the treatment results.
Avoid direct sunlight for 48 hours and wear a head covering. The treated areas should not be exposed to direct sunlight for the next 3 months.
Slight pain cannot be completely ruled out during the two-hour light therapy. After treatment, slight redness around the puncture sites can be expected for 2 days and crust formation and loss of the crusts after 10-14 days. After this, residual redness may be noticeable for several weeks until new skin has formed and adapted to the surrounding area. Very rarely, hematomas may occur due to the injection of the local anesthetic.
Daylight PDT is certainly one of the most promising forms of treatment for actinic keratosis. The treatment is almost completely painless.
The ideal time for daylight PDT is from March to October, when the temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius.

Remove pigment spots

How do pigmentation and age spots form?

Even if we know nothing but taut, flawless skin from the media – sooner or later, everyone makes the acquaintance of light to dark brown discolored areas of skin of various shapes and sizes, so-called pigment spots, which are caused by an overproduction of melanin. But moles in exposed areas, pigment spots on the face or décolleté, dark age spots on the hands and shoulders are also an unpleasant cosmetic problem for many of those affected.

Pigment disorders and pigment spots can be found in almost everyone!

The reasons for hyperpigmentation vary: on the one hand there are birthmarks that are already present from birth, on the other hand there are those that only develop over time. These include freckles or pigment spots, which can occur primarily on the upper lip, cheeks and forehead as a result of hormonal factors during pregnancy (chloasma) or are also due to the use of medication. However, pigmentation disorders also often occur with injuries or inflammatory skin diseases. Acne patients are very frequently affected.

Age spots, which usually appear as small dark spots on the back of the hands, arms, shoulders and face, are the result of excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun.

What are hyperpigmentations actually?

This refers to an “excess” of pigment accumulation in the skin, especially in areas of the body that are frequently exposed to the sun, such as the forehead, upper lip area, cheeks, décolleté and arms. Depending on the cause of the hyperpigmentation, a distinction is made between age spots, lens spots, melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Lens spots: These are caused by pigment accumulation due to too much sun or sunburn.

Age spots: From the age of 30, our melanocytes can no longer distribute the pigment evenly in the skin (“ageing phenomenon of melanocytes”), which means that they release melanin more intensively to some skin cells than to others: this is how the unloved first “age spots” appear – typically the size of a lentil and on the face, décolleté and arms (back of the hand).

Melasma: a very special, stubborn form of hyperpigmentation, as the “too much” pigment can accumulate in deeper layers of the skin (dermis). The cause here – in addition to a genetic predisposition – can usually be found in our hormones: hormonal contraception (pill, coil) or a previous pregnancy can be the trigger for melasma.

Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation: These are small, healed injuries or inflammations in the skin such as pimples, insect bites, etc., which eventually heal into dark pigmentation.

This applies to all forms of pigmentation disorders:

Only clearly benign skin changes are treated with laser, peelings or bleaching cream! (If malignant skin changes are suspected, they are immediately surgically removed and histologically clarified).

What exactly happens during the treatment?

Depending on the diagnosis, peelings and/or bleaching creams are used before the laser treatment, the skin is cleansed and any hair is removed.

When removing individual pigmentation spots, the surrounding skin is covered so that only the pigment is captured by the laser. In the case of extensive pigmentation, e.g. especially in the facial area, a local anesthetic gel is also applied to the skin before the laser treatment.

In the case of superficial pigment – i.e. treatment with ILP lasers – the pigmented area in the skin is broken up into several small pigments so that these can be absorbed by the body’s own scavenger cells and then broken down.

In the case of deeper pigment, fractional CO2 laser technology is used to create tiny wound channels in the skin, which “thin out” the pigment. This results in intensive wound healing and the release of growth factors, which also slightly tightens and firms the skin.

In the case of very dark or deeply embedded pigment, an ablative procedure is used, i.e. pigment is removed step by step in layers using a CO2 laser.

During the laser treatment, the patient only feels the heat of the light. It is not usually necessary to anesthetize the skin. For extremely sensitive skin areas and high sensitivity to pain, an anesthetic substance can of course be applied at the patient’s request to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.

The skin is cooled after the treatment. This soothes it and minimizes any redness that may occur.

The following areas and skin problems can be treated:

Fractionated CO2 laser for the removal of warts, age spots and skin changes

The individual treatment of cosmetically disturbing, benign skin tags and warts/age wartsis carried out using a CO2 laser. The current and innovative form of therapy to remove skin changes under local anesthesia within a few minutes – without sutures.

Modern laser technology for soft, smooth and radiant skin

I work with both fractional CO2 lasers and IPL lasers to successfully treat the many small wrinkles typical of the face (“elastase”) and neck. These innovative laser treatments make it possible to vaporize the skin in the form of microscopically small heat columns or to tighten the skin over a large area.

New collagen is formed!

In addition, there is a shrinking effect: existing collagen bundles contract strongly. Fresh, new skin is formed, which refines the overall skin texture.

The result is soft, smooth and radiant skin.

Important FAQs on the treatment of pigment and age spots

As the skin is very fresh and sensitive after the treatment, you should avoid extensive sunbathing for a few weeks. In addition, not only should sun creams with a high sun protection factor be used to avoid further UV-induced hyperpigmentation, but also appropriate day creams with a high sun protection factor should be used to keep the treatment results fresh for as long as possible.

To maintain an even complexion after the laser treatment, I recommend an anti-aging cream with natural, brightening ingredients. This is available in our practice!
In my practice I offer a special laser treatment with which freckles can be removed quickly and without scarring.
This always depends on the depth of the pigment. In principle, all forms of hyperpigmentation can be lightened and many can be removed completely.
In addition to redness and slight swelling, slight flaking may occur. In the case of very dark and deep pigment spots and when using the CO2 laser, you should expect gray scaling that lasts for 2-3 days.
Applying the bleaching cream I developed every other evening and daily sun protection can ensure a long-lasting, permanent result.

Autologous blood therapy against hair loss

An end to hair loss thanks to autologous blood therapy (PRP)

Everything at a glance

How does your own blood help against hair loss?

In my practice I offer a new technique for regenerating scalp hair. The autologous blood therapy (PRP) can produce amazing results after just two to three months. Hair loss is stopped and regrowing hair becomes stronger and thicker. This innovative procedure works with a natural miracle cure – autologous blood.

In the course of PRP therapy (platelet-rich plasma therapy), a small amount of the patient’s own blood is taken and a “buffy coat” (concentration of valuable, hair growth-promoting blood components such as thrombocytes) is obtained using a special procedure. These growth factors are known for their stimulating effects and are a real “fountain of youth” for damaged hair follicles.

By forming new blood vessels, the hair follicles can be supplied with significantly better nutrients to strengthen the hair. Above all, however, the loss can be stopped.

The therapy is carried out at least three times every four weeks to achieve the desired effect.
The best results can be achieved with thin, sparse hair and slight baldness.

Shiny, full hair for a vital, healthy and above all youthful appearance

Our hair goes through various growth cycles, whereby hair that falls out – we lose up to 100 hairs a day – is replaced by new hair.

Various causes, such as medication, infections, fever, deficiency symptoms, hormonal changes (puberty, pregnancy, menopause, stopping the pill), a genetically inherited susceptibility to hair loss in the typical areas (receding hairline, balding forehead) or the natural ageing process can lead to persistent hair loss or “thinning” of the hair in phases.

Excessive hair loss is not only perceived as annoying from a cosmetic point of view, but can also be psychologically stressful.

It is very important to me to devote time to this sensitive topic and to recommend the right hair therapy for you after a thorough diagnosis.

Who is suitable for PRP autologous blood therapy?

The hereditary form of hair loss (androgenetic telogen effluvium) is particularly well suited to PRP therapy, as the smallest vessels around the hair follicle can grow back after just 2-3 months, allowing the substances dissolved in the blood, such as vitamins and trace elements, to reach the hair root much better!

It can be seen by the regrowth of mostly firm, thicker hair in the treated area. Of course, this is also photodocumented for each patient to confirm the progression.

What are the risks and side effects of PRP autologous blood therapy for hair loss?

The great advantage of autologous blood therapy is that it is very well tolerated. As only the patient’s own blood is used in this treatment, there are no side effects or allergic reactions.

However, it is possible that a slight feeling of pressure may occur for 1-2 hours after the treatment. You can wash your hair or shower the following day.

How does hair loss treatment work?

At your first appointment (“hair consultation”), the following will be discussed and examined in detail:

A trichogram (hair root analysis) is then created based on this data.

PRP therapy can then be started immediately if desired. After discussing the blood results (at the second session, after 4 weeks), a hair tincture tailored to the needs of the individual patient is prescribed, depending on the lack of hormones, vitamins or trace elements, which is then applied daily in the evening for several months. The basis of this tincture is always minoxidil, which has been proven to stop hair loss by promoting blood flow to the hair follicles.

Scar treatment with the fractional CO2 laser

A targeted and effective treatment method

Everything at a glance

In my practice, I specialize in the latest methods for all types of scars thanks to my long-standing and current collaboration with the scar outpatient clinic of the Charité in Berlin.

Targeted skin correction - scars that are still "active" require individual therapy

I carefully treat scars, which are flat but appear as dark spots, especially on the face and after acne, with the fractionated CO2 laser and concentrated bleaching peels. As an accompanying therapy, you will receive a bleaching cream tailored to your skin for treatment at home. With this combination of therapies, results can be seen after just 2-3 treatments!

Early treatment supports success

In the case of hypertrophic scars (bulging) or keloids (extending beyond the original wound edges; often red, thick, inflammatory, sometimes itchy because nerve fibers are involved in the inflammation), scar treatment should be carried out as early as possible.

Important FAQs about laser skin tightening

A laser lift can be used with the onset of elastosis (initial ageing of the skin due to the formation of tiny wrinkles).

The fractional CO2 laser also leads to a restructuring and firming of the deeper layers of the skin, resulting in overall thicker, youthful and firmer skin.

Immediately after the laser lift there is redness, comparable to sunburn, but this is significantly reduced by applying the post-laser cream. There may also be slight swelling in the eye area, as the skin here is particularly delicate.

Improper treatment can lead to scarring. It is therefore important to have the treatment carried out at a laser-certified practice.

The CO2 laser is a very effective and efficient way to treat scars. A variety of different types of scars can be treated, with the exception of scars caused by self-harm (“scoring”). Dr. Barbara Franz did NOT recommend treatment with the CO2 laser.

Vampire lift

A real fountain of youth for your facial skin!

Everything at a glance

What is the vampire lift and how does it work?

The vampire lift is a completely natural anti-ageing method to restore a fresh, radiant complexion and firm skin.

The plasma obtained from your blood, specially prepared and centrifuged for this purpose, causes improved cell reproduction due to the various concentrated growth factors at the treated areas. New blood vessels and fresh, endogenous collagen are formed. The connective tissue is stimulated, resulting in a natural, lasting tightening effect. Small wrinkles are smoothed out and blood circulation is improved.

The small wrinkles around the mouth, eyes, chin and forehead are particularly suitable for this treatment.

IDEAL for wrinkles under the eyes that cannot be treated with Botox or with hyaluronic acid can be treated!

I create a treatment concept for you and use the plasma either directly or in combination with hyaluronic acid.

As the result is significantly improved in combination with a Dermapen treatment, I recommend combining these two facials – a real fountain of youth for the skin!

How is the vampire lift performed?

This treatment is carried out 3-4 times at four-week intervals. The effect occurs immediately after the first treatment and lasts for around 12 months. A refresher treatment is recommended once a year. If used regularly and at an early stage, this biostimulation is the ideal way to prevent signs of ageing.

The face, neck or décolleté is carefully cleansed 25 minutes before the treatment and pre-treated with a concentrated local anesthetic ointment. After renewed disinfection, microscopically small wound channels are deliberately placed in the skin using a microneedling device. This process results in an enormous release of growth factors as the wound heals.

In the second step, the processed plasma is then applied to the treated areas like a gel and lightly massaged in. This the process in the skinof producing abundant growth factors (PGF) is intensified.

For a particularly long-lasting effect, I recommend combining the autologous blood treatment with a Dermapen treatment.

What are the benefits and effects of the vampire lift?

The effect is particularly long-lasting if you combine the autologous blood treatment with a Dermapen .

Important FAQs about the vampire lift

Autologous blood therapy is a rejuvenation treatment that uses only the body’s own materials. By puncturing the vein in the crook of the arm, the plasma growth factors obtained from the venous blood are gently injected under the skin, where they have an immediate plumping effect. The long-term effect of skin regeneration is achieved after around two months.

If you want an anti-aging treatment that uses only the body’s own substances , PRP therapy is the right choice!

Each of these treatments involves injecting plasma to treat dark circles, nasolabial folds and wrinkles around the eyes. In more pronounced cases, however, injecting plasma alone will only have a marginal effect. In these cases, a specially prepared mixture of plasma and hyaluronic acid will bring the desired results.

No blood-thinning medication should be taken one week before the treatment so as not to inhibit the vitality of the blood platelets.

Vampire lifting is a virtually painless treatment. Pre-treatment with Shift ointment for local anesthesia is available on request.

In addition to slight redness and swelling, hematomas (bruising) may occur in rare cases, which disappear within a few days.

As sensitivity to pain is generally increased during an illness, it is advisable to have any treatments carried out while the patient is healthy.

It is recommended that you do not exercise for three days after PRP therapy. In addition, you should avoid saunas, steam baths and facial peels for three days after a vampire lift. Sun and solarium should be avoided for two weeks after the treatment.
