Treating drooping eyelids without surgery

Eyelid lifting in Vienna made easy thanks to the Morpheus 8!

Everything at a glance

An eyelid lift is one of the most frequently performed procedures in aesthetic dermatology, as many people suffer from drooping eyelids. Drooping eyelids can have various causes – some sufferers have had them since childhood, while for others they only appear later in life. Despite the fact that this is a cosmetic rather than a medical problem, my patients often complain about its effects. Extremely drooping eyelids can also restrict the field of vision or cause eye discomfort. I have the solution for this – treatment with the Morpheus 8. I have summarized more information about drooping eyelids and their treatment below!

What are drooping eyelids?

Drooping eyelids (medical term: blepharochalasis) occur when the upper eyelid hangs down over the eye due to a lack of elasticity or tension. Drooping eyelids can occur in one or both eyes; men and women are equally affected.

Bags under the eyes are the counterpart to drooping eyelids, which refer to swelling of the lower eyelid. This swelling of the lower eyelid is caused by fat and water deposits, which usually occur as a result of stress and age. I also offer treatments against dark circles in my practice!

What are the causes of drooping eyelids?

There are various causes of drooping eyelids or a drooping eyelid:

Why should I have an eyelid lift?

As mentioned above, it can become a medical necessity to remove excess skin from the eyes, as this sometimes results in the patient’s visual field being restricted. However, many patients also opt for an eyelid lift for aesthetic reasons alone. Drooping eyelids often make the patient look tired, stressed, tense and ill. With a drooping eyelid correction, you have the opportunity for a new attitude towards life!

How can drooping eyelids be treated?

There are many options for treating drooping eyelids. Some doctors opt for correction by means of surgery. Eyelid surgery often has the disadvantage that the patient has to expect long waiting times.

However, my miracle cure for drooping eyelids is a very special treatment that is offered in my practice – the Morpheus 8.

What is the Morpheus 8?

The Morpheus 8 is a further development of classic microneedling and makes it possible to stimulate collagen formation in the deeper layers of the skin and thus restore a youthful glow. Thanks to the combination of microneedling and radio frequency, this treatment benefits from the effects of two different technologies and thus achieves a synergy effect – here 1+1 does not make 2 but 3! As a result, cell renewal is stimulated and the skin appears younger, fresher and more toned!

This minimally invasive technique can be used in many areas! Treatment of the eyes is particularly popular. Here, the Morpheus 8 is used to tighten the eyelids, as the sagging, excess skin is tightened and contracts.

Other areas treated include the face, neck and décolleté, stomach, thighs, buttocks and knees.

What advantages does the Morpheus 8 offer?

What distinguishes microneedling treatment with the Morpheus 8 from other beauty treatments?

Whether after a peel, Botox or hyaluronic injections, or laser therapy – all these treatments have the disadvantage that patients are affected by downtimes of up to a week. The great advantage of treatment with the Morpheus 8 is that there is NO DOWNTIME!

This treatment does not cause wounds, crusting or swelling. It can be carried out all year round (even in summer), as the skin regenerates and restructures itself from the inside! So you don’t have to worry about taking a vacation after the treatment or postponing the next date with your loved one. After treatment with the Morpheus 8, you are totally flexible and can carry on with your normal daily routine!
